Our law firm has been in existence since 1953. Nine lawyers advise and represent private individuals and companies of all sizes.
In addition, our law firm is also licensed in Germany. We are therefore particularly well suited as “translators” for Germans with legal matters in Austria.

In cross-border legal matters, we advise against foreign lawyers working in Austria for good reason. The legal situation is too different even with elementary legal norms such as the Civil Code and the Code of Civil Procedure.
Based on our dual admission, we can say from experience: “Almost everything is different in Austria.“
Consensual Lawyer
German lawyers who become active in Austria due to the freedom to provide services and the lack of a language barrier incur a high liability risk. A mere consensual lawyer in the form of an Austrian lawyer does little to change this.
Hearing representation
For the same reason, we advise against German lawyers drafting lawsuits or pleadings and then sending an Austrian hearing representative to the hearing.
Corresponding lawyer
Ideally, however, a directly mandated corresponding lawyer should be involved.
It is recommended that our lawyers receive a direct mandate with the task of processing the entire file and conducting the correspondence with the clients via their in-house lawyers or company lawyers.
In this way, foreign clients have their usual law firm as a proven contact partner. Conversely, foreign law firms can also offer their clients a comprehensive service for Austria.

Mit unseren sechs Standorten sind wir auch geografisch in Ihrer Nähe. Dennoch müssen Sie zur Abwicklung Ihrer Rechtssache nicht extra anreisen: Unsere Kanzlei ist vollkommen digitalisiert.
Im Alltag arbeiten wir bevorzugt via Videokonferenz. Sie erhalten immer kurzfristig einen Termin – und sparen selbst die Anfahrtszeit ein. Sollte zusätzlich ein Experte von einem anderen Standort oder beispielsweise Ihr Steuerberater benötigt werden, schalten wir diese einfach zu.
Auf besonderen Wunsch bieten wir auch noch Besprechungen via Telefon an. Grundsätzlich sind wir jedoch der Ansicht, dass man bei Rechtsberatungen sein Gegenüber sehen sollte.
