Billing via Provinzial Legal Expenses Insurance

If legal expenses insurance is in place through Provinzial, Provinzial covers the costs of legal disputes. Depending on the insurance contract, this includes your own and the opposing party’s legal fees, court fees, expert witness fees, witness fees, and any other procedural costs.

If legal expenses coverage from Provinzial is available, Harlander & Partner Rechtsanwälte GmbH bills all costs covered by the insurance contract directly to the legal expenses insurance company.

Process with Provinzial Legal Expenses Insurance

The first step in handling a legal matter with Provinzial legal expenses insurance is a free and non-binding initial consultation. This takes place conveniently via video conference or telephone. This allows Provinzial policyholders to speak with an expert at short notice at any time.

During the initial consultation for Provinzial policyholders, we clarify whether we can take on the legal matter. Our attorneys have a wide range of specializations. Nevertheless, there are cases that we cannot cover. In these instances, we are happy to recommend another specialist to you.

Power of Attorney

In the next step, we will send you the power of attorney. This already contains the notice that the first action will be to submit a request for coverage to Provinzial and that confirmation of coverage will be awaited before starting any billable work.

Request for coverage

After receiving the power of attorney and the initial information regarding the legal matter, we submit a request for coverage to Provinzial legal expenses insurance based on this information. This service is also free of charge for Provinzial policyholders, even if legal expenses coverage is declined.

Confirmation of coverage

In the event of confirmation of coverage, Provinzial legal expenses insurance covers the costs of the legal dispute to the extent of the insurance contract. Often, there are small deductibles or a limitation of cost reimbursement to out-of-court or court costs.

Billing

Whenever possible, billing is handled directly with Provinzial insurance, so that their policyholders do not have the burden of submitting reimbursement claims.
