Billing via AXA Legal Expenses Insurance

If you have legal expenses insurance with AXA, AXA covers the costs of legal disputes. Depending on the insurance contract, this includes your own and the opposing party’s attorney fees, court fees, expert witness fees, witness fees, and any other procedural costs.

Process with AXA legal expenses insurance

Free initial consultation

The first step in handling a legal matter with AXA legal expenses insurance is a free and non-binding initial consultation. This takes place conveniently via video conference or telephone. This enables AXA policyholders to speak with an expert at short notice.

During the initial consultation for AXA policyholders, we determine whether we can take on the legal matter. Our attorneys have a broad range of specializations. Nevertheless, there are cases we cannot cover. In such cases, we are happy to recommend another specialist.

Power of Attorney

In the next step, we send you the power of attorney. This already includes a note that a coverage request will be submitted to AXA as the first action and that fee-based processing will await the coverage confirmation.

Request for coverage

After receiving the power of attorney and the initial information about the legal matter, we submit a coverage request to AXA legal expenses insurance based on this information. This service is also free of charge for AXA policyholders, even in the event of a denial of legal expenses coverage.

Confirmation of coverage

In the event of coverage confirmation, AXA legal expenses insurance covers the costs of the legal dispute to the extent of the insurance contract. There are often small deductibles or a limitation of cost reimbursement to out-of-court or court costs.

Billing

Billing is carried out directly with AXA insurance whenever possible, so that their policyholders have no effort in submitting cost reimbursement applications.
