Power of Attorney

In the next step, we will send you the power of attorney. This already contains the note that the first action will be to submit a request for coverage to Debeka and that confirmation of coverage will be awaited before starting any billable work.

Request for coverage

After receiving the power of attorney and the initial information regarding the legal matter, we submit a request for coverage to Debeka legal expenses insurance based on this information. This service is also free of charge for Debeka policyholders, even if legal coverage is denied.

Confirmation of coverage

In the event of confirmation of coverage, Debeka legal expenses insurance covers the costs of the legal dispute to the extent of the insurance contract. Often, there are small deductibles or a limitation of cost reimbursement to out-of-court or court costs.

Billing

Billing is handled directly with Debeka insurance whenever possible, so that their policyholders do not have to deal with the effort of submitting reimbursement claims.
