Billing via ADAC Legal Protection Insurance
If ADAC legal protection insurance is in place, ADAC covers the costs for legal disputes. Depending on the insurance contract, this includes the client’s own and the opposing party’s attorney fees, court fees, expert witness fees, witness fees, and any other procedural costs.
If legal protection coverage from ADAC is available, Harlander & Partner Attorneys at Law GmbH bills all costs covered by the insurance contract directly with the legal protection insurance.

Process with ADAC Legal Protection Insurance
Free initial consultation
The first step in handling a legal matter with ADAC legal protection insurance is a free and non-binding initial consultation. This takes place conveniently via video conference or telephone. This allows ADAC policyholders to always speak with an expert at short notice.
During the initial consultation for ADAC policyholders, we clarify whether we can take on the legal matter. Our attorneys have a wide range of specializations. Nevertheless, there are cases that we cannot cover. In such cases, we are happy to recommend another specialist.
Power of Attorney
In the next step, we will send you the power of attorney. This already contains the note that the first action will be to submit a coverage inquiry to ADAC, and that the chargeable processing will await the coverage confirmation.
Request for coverage
After receiving the power of attorney and the initial information on the legal matter, we submit a coverage inquiry to ADAC Legal Protection Insurance based on this information. This service is also free of charge for ADAC policyholders, even if legal protection coverage is denied.
Confirmation of coverage
In the event of a coverage confirmation, ADAC Legal Protection Insurance covers the costs of the legal dispute to the extent of the insurance contract. Often, there are small deductibles or a limitation of cost reimbursement to out-of-court or court costs.
Billing
Whenever possible, billing is done directly with ADAC insurance, so that their policyholders do not have to deal with submitting reimbursement claims.
