Billing via HUK24 Legal Protection Insurance
If legal protection insurance through HUK24 is in place, HUK24 covers the costs for legal disputes. Depending on the insurance contract, this includes the policyholder’s own and the opposing party’s attorney fees, court fees, expert fees, witness fees, and any other procedural costs.
Harlander & Partner Attorneys GmbH, if legal protection coverage from HUK24 is available, bills all costs covered by the insurance contract directly to the legal protection insurance provider.

Process with HUK24 Legal Protection Insurance
Free initial consultation
The first step in handling a legal matter with HUK24 Legal Protection Insurance is a free and non-binding initial consultation. This takes place conveniently via video conference or telephone. This way, HUK24 policyholders can always speak with an expert at short notice.
During the initial consultation for HUK24 policyholders, we clarify whether we can take on the legal matter. Our attorneys have a wide range of specializations. Nevertheless, there are cases that we cannot cover. In such cases, we are happy to recommend another specialist.
Power of Attorney
In the next step, we will send you the power of attorney. This already contains the note that the first action will be to submit a coverage inquiry to HUK24, and that paid processing will await the coverage confirmation.
Request for coverage
After receiving the power of attorney and initial information on the legal matter, we submit a coverage inquiry to HUK24 Legal Protection Insurance based on this information. This service is also free of charge for HUK24 policyholders, even in the event of a rejection of legal protection coverage.
Confirmation of coverage
In the event of a coverage confirmation, HUK24 Legal Protection Insurance covers the costs of the legal dispute to the extent of the insurance contract. Often, there are small deductibles or a limitation of cost reimbursement to out-of-court or court costs.
Billing
Billing is, whenever possible, directly with HUK24 Insurance, so that their policyholders do not have any effort with submitting cost reimbursement applications.
