Harlander Rechtsanwalt GmbH has three offices in Austria (Salzburg, Linz, Vienna) and one office in Germany (Eggenfelden, Bavaria).

As experts in German and Austrian commercial law, we are particularly well suited as “translators.”

In the case of appearance representation, we focus on the federal states of Vienna, Lower Austria, Upper Austria, Salzburg, Tyrol and Carinthia. We only accept assignments in Styria, Burgenland and Vorarlberg after consultation due to the greater distance, if the assignment falls precisely within one of our core competencies.

As Austrian lawyers, we are admitted to all Austrian courts and authorities – including the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Court and the Administrative Court.

Appearance Representation or Direct Mandate?

In the case of cross-border legal matters, appearance representation is not the optimal form.

It is recommended that our lawyers receive a direct mandate with the task of conducting correspondence with the client via their German lawyer.

In this way, the German client has his usual German lawyer as a proven contact person, the German lawyer can offer his client a comprehensive service also for abroad, but the German lawyer is not liable for the Austrian proceedings.
