Official Fees for the EU Trademark
The official fees for the EU trademark are prescribed by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
The amount of the official fees for the EU trademark depends on the number of registered Nice classes. The official fees for the EU trademark are
- €850.00 for the first class
- €50.00 for the second class
- €150.00 for each additional class
Payment of Official Fees
The official fees can usually be transferred directly by the trademark owner. In this case, our law firm will send the trademark owner the data for making the transfer after the trademark application.
In cases where this is not possible, our law firm will send the trademark owner an invoice for the official fees before the trademark application. No surcharge will be charged. After the application, our law firm will then arrange for the transfer of the application fees.
