Where legal expenses coverage from AUXILIA is confirmed, Harlander & Partner Rechtsanwälte GmbH bills all costs covered by the insurance contract directly to the legal expenses insurer.

Free initial consultation
The first step in handling a legal matter with AUXILIA legal expenses insurance is a free, non-binding initial consultation. This can conveniently take place via video conference or telephone. This means AUXILIA policyholders can always speak to an expert at short notice.
As part of the initial consultation for AUXILIA policyholders, we clarify whether we can take on the matter. Our attorneys have a broad range of specializations. Nevertheless, there are cases we cannot cover. In such cases, we will be happy to recommend another specialist.
Power of Attorney
In the next step, we send you the power of attorney. This already includes a note that the first action will be to submit a coverage inquiry to AUXILIA and that billable work will await confirmation of coverage.
Request for coverage
After receiving the power of attorney and the initial information about the legal matter, we submit a coverage inquiry to AUXILIA legal expenses insurance based on this information. This service is also free of charge for AUXILIA policyholders, even if legal expenses coverage is denied.
Confirmation of coverage
In the event of confirmation of coverage, AUXILIA legal expenses insurance covers the costs of the legal dispute to the extent of the insurance contract. Often there are small deductibles or a limitation of cost reimbursement to out-of-court or court costs.
Billing
Billing is handled directly with AUXILIA insurance whenever possible, so that policyholders have no effort in submitting cost reimbursement claims.
