Company Types
In the first step, the form of your company is selected, e.g.:
- Flexible Kapitalgesellschaft (FlexKapG)
- Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung (GmbH)
- GmbH & Co. KG (a combination of GmbH and KG)
- Offene Gesellschaft (OG)
- Kommanditgesellschaft (KG)
- Gesellschaft bürgerlichen Rechts (GbR)
If you want to found an OG, KG or GbR, you should seek legal advice as a matter of urgency. In almost all cases, this decision is based on misunderstandings regarding the share capital of the GmbH and alleged tax advantages of the partnerships.
